A Holiday Musical Gift Within the Heart of the Caribbean... Barbados!

Now in its fourtenth year, Christmas Jazz Barbados has grown into one of the signature live performances within the Caribbean. With its early beginnings at the renown Plantation Theatre, and having most recently moved to Ilaro Court (the official residence of the Prime Minister of Barbados), the annual holiday tradition attracts several thousand concert-goers each year from all over the country, West Indies and around the world.

Christmas Jazz has featured some of the biggest names in contemporary music, such as Gerald Albright, Eric Darius, George Duke, Sheila E, Rachelle Ferrell, Shelea Frazier, Russell Gunn, Everette Harp, Lalah Hathaway, Kenny Latimore, Marcus Miller, Nicholas Payton, Christian Scott, John Stoddart, Arturo Tappin, Kirk Whalum, Elisabeth Withers and many others.

In 2015, the concert starred Maurice Brown, Lalah Hathaway, Lillie MacCloud and Arturo Tappin, to name a few, in front of a capacity audience. Last year's show featured Barbados' own Nicholas Brancker, MD/bass; Judith Hill, vocals; Ryan Shaw, vocals; Keith Anderson, sax; Maurice Brown, tpt; and an All-Star band.
